My Story

The mother delivered her second daughter, Santhya while staying at her in-laws' house. However, her parents-in-law were unwilling to accept another girl in the family due to financial difficulties in settling their own daughters. They pressured their son to either kill the newborn using cactus milk or give her up to an orphanage, but the IGP staff intervened, ensuring the baby's safety and monitoring the father.

Following the birth, the father turned to heavy drinking and mistreated his wife. As a result, the mother moved back to her parents' home in Kerala. She would visit her husband's home but was forced to return due to his ongoing drinking and disruptive behavior. It took five years for the husband to overcome his drinking problem and start working again. During this time, the woman's parents provided all the necessary care and support to their daughter Santhya and her family.

Eventually, the IGP facilitated the second-born girl's education by enrolling her in an RC convent school.she completed her 12th grade and will be joining college.

Under IGP’s care, Santhya will receive a strong education, the ability to have a better childhood, and consistent care for her needs.
