My Story

Sadly, Lavanya's family's professional history is one that brings shame to the family. Her mother, Madhavi has steered clear of prostituting herself but is getting desperate to be able to feed her three daughters. She and her husband work as daily farm laborers and do not earn enough to feed their daughters.

At the advice of a friend, Madhavi visited our social workers and explained her dire need to feed her daughters and not have to sell herself to do it. She also has dreams for her daughters and does not want them to grow up in the same profession.

At  6 years of age, Lavanya has not been to school. Your sponsorship will provide her with an education, food, and safety. Lavanya will be told that she is valuable and precious, she will be cared for and supported. She will be given a future.
