My Story

Kushuma's father abandoned his wife for another woman. He left his wife and two children to fend for themselves. Kushuma's mother has suffered from depression and mood swings since the abandonment and cannot care well for her children. Kushuma is neglected and malnourished. Her grandmother took her to our partner to ask if she could be admitted into our sponsorship program. She said there is no one to care for Kushuma as she is old to work or take care of her granddaughter. She said if she were to pass away, no one would take care of Kushuma. Your sponsorship will allow Kushuma to go to school and live in a safe home where she will be taught she is valued and valuable.
